Microchip Scanner - Datamars iMax+ 

Datamars introduced the new release of the former iMax pet microchip scanner, and thanks to the combination of high performance and competitive cost, the iMax+ is an unbeatable universal microchip scanner. The iMax+ has qualities suitable for a veterinarian, but is available to pet owner.

This microchip scanner is lightweight and easy to handle. It works with batteries, lasting for around 1,000 reads before battery replacement is required. It comes with an auto power function that will automatically turn itself off after 90 seconds of non-use.

The iMax+ comes packaged in a sturdy black suitcase which includes the operation manual. Once a microchip is read, it is displayed on the back-lit display and a beep signals a successful reading.

The Datamars iMax+ universal microchip scanner will read ISO 11784/5 FBX-B microchips and is backward compatible with FDX-A/FECAVA and Trovan microchips. It will also read encrypted microchips. With the exception of thermal microchips, the iMax+ pet microchip scanner will read all common microchips on the market including Avid, HomeAgain, and Trovan. It is resistant to interference and provides a high quality signal while using safe, reliable, low frequency radio waves. It will read through all non-conductive materials.

The Datamars ISO MAX V microchip scanner is connectable to any computer with a RS 232 serial adaptor interface for download.

The LCD is backlit with 3 rows of 12 characters. The iMax+ scanner will beep as confirmation of a successful read and the microchip number will show on the LCD screen. It is powered by one 9Volt alkaline battery.
