How secure is shopping online with Pet Travel Store?
All online transactions take place through Authorize.net., the largest internet secure gateway in the world. Security is our primary concern, and we have the most up to date security protection available.

Will I pay tax on my order?

Residents of the State of Florida must pay 7% sales tax on their order. Out of state customers do not pay sales tax at this time.

How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1 business day. Orders placed prior to 3:00 PM ship the same day. Delivery times vary based on your location and selected shipping method. Standard shipping typically takes 3-7 business days within the US.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship pet travel products worldwide. International shipping times vary by destination, typically 7-21 business days.

How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to monitor your shipment's progress.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders for items that have not shipped can be cancelled by sending a notice to custsvc@pettravelstore.com. If the item is already in the mail, you will need to follow our return policy.

Microchips

Are your microchips ISO compliant?
Yes! Our Datamars microchips meet ISO Standards 11784/11785, making them compatible with scanners worldwide and accepted for international pet travel.

Can I implant the microchip myself?
We strongly recommend having your veterinarian implant the microchip. While the kit includes everything needed, proper implantation ensures your pet's safety and comfort.

Is microchip registration really free?
Yes! Our microchips include free lifetime registration with PetLink, including all future updates and changes. No yearly fees ever.

What if my pet already has a microchip?
If your pet's current microchip isn't ISO compliant, you may need an additional ISO-compliant chip for international travel, or you'll need to carry a compatible scanner.

Pet Travel

Which countries require microchips?
Most countries, including all EU nations, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and many others require ISO-compliant microchips for pet entry. Check specific requirements for your destination country.

What else do I need for international pet travel?
Besides a microchip, you'll typically need a health certificate, rabies vaccination, and possibly additional treatments or tests depending on your destination. Always check requirements well in advance.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
We accept returns on most items within 30 days of purchase in saleable condition and in original packing. For health and safety reasons, microchips can only be returned if unopened and in original packaging.

How do I initiate a return?
Contact our customer service team with your order number, and we'll provide return instructions and a return authorization if applicable.
