Pet Passport United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates requires a Import Permit for entry. Your pet will also need to be microchipped with a 15 digit ISO Standard 11784 pet microchip. Your veterinary will then fill out the Veterinary Certificate for endorsement by the USDA or CFIA if you are traveling from the United States or Canada.
If your pet's microchip is not ISO 11784/11785 compliant, you can carry your own microchip scanner.
Your pet will also need to be checked for internal and external parasites shortly before entry. If your pet resides in a country other than those considered to be rabies-free (see list below), your pet will need a rabies titer test no sooner than 21 days after rabies vaccination. Select the option above to include titer test forms and instructions. Note that pets traveling from the United States, Canada and Mexico will need a titer test.
