Pet Passport Ecuador
This package contains information and detailed step by step instructions on importing your dog or cat to Ecuador. If your pet is not traveling to Ecuador, then you can select the country your pet is traveling to by selecting a pet passport for another country.
Carefully following these instructions will make clearing customs easier and quicker. The instructions will also help to avoid having your pet denied entry, put into quarantine or returned to your country of origin.
Our information is constantly being updated to keep it current.
Your pet can enter Ecuador with proof of current rabies vaccination administered between 21 days and 12 months of entry. Other vaccinations are required as well. A health certificate completed by a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of entry must be endorsed by the USDA or CFIA if you are traveling from the United States or Canada. An alternate health certificate should be in Spanish or bi-lingual with one language being Spanish.
An internal and external parasite treatment must be administered by a licensed veterinarian within 21 days of entry.
If you are entering Ecuador from any country in Africa, Asia, the European Union or Oceania, your cat or dog should have a rabies titer test done prior to transport with the sample processed in a government-approved laboratory.
With the package, you get detailed instructions, USDA instructions for endorsement (when applicable) and FREE unlimited email support both for you and your veterinarian, should either of you have any questions.
