A new model with memory and Bluetooth enabled!
The new HomeAgain microchip scanner is in full accordance with ISO Standard 11785 with the ability to read 128 kHz 9-digit encrypted, 125 kHz 10-digit, and the 134.2 kHz 15-digit microchips. This is the full range of microchips commonly in use today. When the scan is performed, both the type (FDX-A or FDX-B) and the microchip number will be displayed on the screen.
The scanner will display the body temperature of the animal if you are using the new HomeAgain TEMPscan chips. It can also read and display the Microchip TemperatureTM when reading microchips with temperature sensing implants from Destron Fearing or Allflex.
In addition to its scanning functions, this new scanner can store up to 3000 IDs in its internal memory, each associated with a time/date stamp. This data can be transmitted to a personal computer via a USB cable or wirelessly using Bluetooth.
The scanner is supplied with the Microchip Management Software which enables you to download the scanner's memory, change the scanner settings, or update the scanner's firmware.
The scanner is stored and protected in a reusable hard plastic case with a handle for easy handling.
The new HomeAgain microchip scanner will read all FDX-A 10-digit and FDX-B 15-digit microchips on the market. It will also read the 128 kHz 9-digit Avid encrypted microchip.
