Virgin America Pet Policy
Virgin America requires that your pet be accompanied by a certificate of good health, and that your dog or cat is transported in an approved pet carrier. Virgin America does not allow pets to travel as checked baggage or cargo.
Your veterinarian will be certifying that your pet is healthy enough to travel and is free of diseases communicable to humans. Virgin America Airlines also requires that you provide copies of the veterinary certificates and other documents required by the country to which you are traveling.
Your airline pet passport package includes:
- Instructions, in cabin regulations, and other information for transporting your dog or cat on Virgin America
- Airline Veterinary Certificate and instructions
- Pet Passport Folder - included with First Class Mail Delivery Options above
- Unlimited Email Support
All instructions and Virgin America pet policies are verified at the time of order. Requirements to fly your dog or cat with Virgin America are included. Enforcement may not be consistent at every airport and having proper documentation will better ensure that no problems will arise during your travels.
Additional forms can be self printed from the Email Attachment option.
There are no refunds on forms unless there is a problem with the information or forms provided.
